Can I drive there with no papers?
Can I drive there with no papers?
Aren't America's farmers accepting government compensation for lost profits due to the trade war? That sounds like socialism. Now automakers would never take a handout from a socialist government, would they?
I’ve used a dual battery system before and it only linked them during engine run when the alternator was supplying charge current. Although not totally infallible, it was pretty idiot proof. I'd trust a single battery with a low voltage cutoff after testing it beforehand.
You have very valid points. I’d agree that it does get more expensive to do it right, but I always plan for a backup, always. The first thing any new car added to my fleet gets is a full-size spare in the trunk. I’d be a bit leery of a single battery used for a small DC fan overnight. It might not start up again in…
Good to see that German Craigslist ads cover the license plate like they do in the US.
Dual, smart battery isolator kits are in the $125 range. Add a full on second battery under the hood. Bonus points is that when your first battery goes TU, you can use the second one to start the van, with the flip of a (properly installed) switch.
I’m surprised Ford never sold the Ka in the Boston area. The 6 years I lived near there, it's the only car anyone ever talked about.
LS swap in this stately car? It needs a diesel to recall all the glory of other MB diesels. I’m thinking a Cummins Repower 2.8 kit would make this quite the cruiser.
I routinely drive a large box truck. I’d think that a 360 degree view camera system would be rather effective for the truck application. Also, any small decrease in drag on a large truck should translate to a small increase in fuel efficiency and that could pay large dividends over the life of a fleet of trucks.
It’s like Netflix for cars! Except the Aviator you wanted to rent next month is now gone because Lincoln ended their contract with the service. Instead you get a Kia Sorrento. Thanks, Hertz! Oh, wait not a rental car service. What makes this that much different from a rental car service?
CP because it just does not look right. The profile is wrong. It looks like someone took a Cobra mad out of taffy and left it in the sun. It seems like I read an article on here once that showed a Miata cobra body kit for $4,000 or so. If I wanted to drive a Cobra replica, I would make Miata the answer for half the…
LS swap? Do something different. How about a 3 rotor Wankel engine.
I’ve scrolled a long way and didn’t find this one. Does a lowered SUV count as an SUV? $70K is JGC Trackhawk money. I’ve seen them painted actual colors (like red) and that won’t be confused with a monotone Allroad. The OP already knows that the JGC is pretty OK. 700 HP makes everything better.
It’s a Google sheets document. I pretty much have my phone with me all the time. I can enter it when I pump it or later at home. A couple of pasted equations and I get cost per mile. I'm currently running about 6.5 cents per mile in the Prius C. I feel that $/mile is the best number to have overall. My weekend car…
I drive my personal car at least 30K miles each year. I bought a Prius knowing this ahead of time. I frequently rent cars for business. My company specifies a “full size” on the rental agreements which usually means Malibu or equivalent. I always track actual fuel mileage just because I’m a nerd like that. Since July,…
STI works for Subaru.
I agree that there’s too much hidden on this one. If it were cheaper, I’m sure there would be a K24 swap (is this ths swap the cool kids are still doing) in its future.
It might be better to watch their videos on mute.
And where is the GLA 250 answer to the Marono CC?
