Thanks. My Dad did it to me. I got a broken $500 car and a Chiltons manual for my 14th birthday. My Dad got a broken car as a teen as well.

That’s the ultimate expression of MEH! I think Chevy only sold those to rental car companies in the USA. I drove one for a week in Minneapolis.

Pretty sure that's a Lambo.

My son’s Accord was much the same as that, especially on the roof. My RSX was much better off.

Clear coat on these cars is terrible. Although, if you don’t mind the labor, wet sanding the failed clear coat and respraying with an epoxy spray can does give OK results for less than $100. I’ve done a 2000 Honda and a 2002 Acura in the last year.

Yeah. He cleaned up 20 years of debris. Borderline hoarder house. I paid for the tow to get the car to my garage to fix it all up. It ran when parked 5 years before. It needed love, but when you are 15, your time is cheaper. He cleaned it up over the summer and had a pretty solid car on his 16th birthday.

Subaru should skip directly to selling used cars. From what I’ve seen recently, the used Subaru market is insane. Subaru should just abandon dealerships and sell their cars on CL and FB marketplace because they know what they have.

My son got the EX-L version of this for cleaning up a retired couples yard and garage. It didn't run and had a family of squirrels living where the battery goes, but for a 15 year old to have a car for 2 weeks worth of work last summer. Hopefully his makes it another 850,000 miles.

How much rigidity did a BOF, 60's, fiberglass, thin pillared, body add to the car? Isn't the fiberglass vibration isolated from the frame? I think the 4 speed would make it more entertaining, not necessarily faster.

Needs more krapfen mode to lock the inside front tire!

How much are first gen 4-Runners these days. When I was younger, I camped in the back of one on a foam mattress with the rear seat removed.

Can confirm. Learned to drive in a manual 1985 Toyota Van on 285 around Atlanta.

My father had a Simca in the early 70s. It was a few years old and rusted out, in Florida, with no salt on the roads. I remember it had a piece of a merge sign for the passenger floor.

And he got it on video!

How much to add blinkers no one can see?

Shhh! BMW will no longer make run flats standard, they will be an option. Aluminum wheels, STANDARD!

He is obviously heading to Florida on 95 South.

I drove a 2019 CX9 last weekend in local traffic and on some high speed roads. Was very impressed. It felt smaller than it was, but it's a big car.

What happens when a self absorbed douche moves in next door, then across the street, then at 2 other houses down the block? My answer was to move out. My previous neighborhood was no HOA, so the neighbors made complaints to the county.

Exactly! I got on my HOA board last year to help reduce the stupidity by one. It's an uphill battle.
