Yeah, and commute times matter too. Just bought a place North of Alpharetta and had a limited area to choose from based on not wanting to commute an hour each way.

Can confirm. Moved into a new house last year in N. Georgia. No decent houses outside of the HOA ones.

A writer of novels is an artist. That makes a freelance journalist an artist. I would argue that riding around the Nuremberg in a ring taxi is performance art. Uber drivers must be commute artists!

Recommend Atlanta as well. Can confirm, I live here. One of my colleagues just sold a manual early 2000's Pathfinder with limited slip. It had 455K on it. The deals are out there once you get away from the salt belt.

The wrap is the coolest part of this announcement!

My NP depends on a rust free straight uni-body. The spare parts can be sold back on CL.

I’m saving up for a gently used C7 when the C8 his the market. Hopefully the seats won’t be damaged by the jean shorts rivets.

Pffft! Women don't think 6 inches is notable? My ex-wife sure noticed that a hundred dollar bill is almost exactly 6 inches long.

I can't even imagine the training required for this sport.

My Mom is almost 70 and drives a manual with anger. All the time. Everywhere she goes. My Dad jokes that he should have bought stock in Goodyear.

When I took my motorcycle training course many moons ago, I made a note to my instructor about the full face helmet safety issue. (I brought my own helmet because I’d been riding dirt bikes and on the back of my father’s road bike since I was big enough to hold on. My parent's second car when I was growing up was a

The lights aren’t triggered by weight, but by a change in the inductance of circuit made by the coil of wire embedded in the asphalt.

I saw a similar deal in 2014 when I was looking at a Volt. I couldn't get them to make me a good deal on a sale because I drive 45,000 miles a year. I do see the ELRs now in the low $20s.

First they took our pop-up lights, but I didn't speak up because I didn't have any, then they took away our aerodynamic noses, but I didn't speak up because I didn't have one...

Can we turn this into a guessing game?

No issues with the brake calipers. It was the stupid GMC midsize crossover (Terrain). I got Chevy Equinox wheels for it. The brakes were the same, they looked silly under 20" wheels anyway.

I understand the safety regs for pedestrians are important. Getting hit by a car is not a good day. At what point is safety of pedestrians priority over aerodynamics which influence emissions which make the air more polluted for pedestrians?

My ex had a CUV with factory 20" wheels. I got on CL and found a new pair of 17" take offs for $400. They came with brand new tires. Sold the 20's with worn out tires for $600 on CL. Actually the guy who bought them only wanted 2 of them. Getting them from me was way cheaper than any other source.
