Not true, but most of them did. My car last year. No wing, no lip spoiler.

Last spring I bought a clean, unmolested, 130K mile type-S for half as much as he’s asking. Put $2K into it making it look (16 year old) new and sold it on Christmas Eve for $9K. This is crack pipe. Also, new seat leather can be had for $400 (in black at least).

I live in Atlanta and drive South down I-75 every other weekend. Glad you posted it, still don't know what attack helocopter Jesus would fly.

I agree with keeping engine RPMs up in a typical engine, but the 2.7 liter GM engine here uses an electric water pump. I'd imagine that the ECU has provision to run the pump at needed speeds to keep the engine in an optimal temperature range.

Worst car name ever. Every time I try to get information on the Pontiac Torrent, I get a small download file that wants to connect to lots of peers. In the end, it never downloads my Pontiac.

What does RPM have to do with coolant flow? (Asking for a friend)

Tom, for the 3rd question, why wouldn’t you consider TCO (total cost of ownership) as part of the equation? If someone is budget constrained, wouldn’t insurance and MPG be an important factor in the car buying decision? I’m thinking of an extreme example of a used Chevrolet Equinox vs. a Toyota Prius V wagon. Fuel is

Ford does not have a great track record with automated manual transmissions. Ask any Powershift owner. I'd still prefer the 3 pedal manual, but that's like my opinion.

The new Supra looks like it has an F1 nose embedded in the front. Much the same way as the BMW i8 has a 911 embedded in the back. Can we blame BMW for the Supra nose?

Wasps is better than anything I’ve dealt with wrenching on a transmission. Probably sting less than the repair bill, too.

I just sold a 02 RSX type S. I agree.

And another coincidence. My company builds instrumentation for the xH-60 series of birds.

I’ve got 185K on the brakes on my Prius. Oh, crap I've driven 185K in a Prius!

Agreed. Before smart phones, I used to print MapQuest travel directions mirrored and place them on the dash when I went somewhere for buisness. I’ll just call that low tech HUD.

Wait, if this had any engine North of 300 hp, ran and drove, and both wings, I'd totally buy it and register it in Florida! Without the engine, it's totally CP.

I love the kid in the middle holding the puppy out for the photo.

Toyota already makes a longroof AWD on the Camry platform. It's the best selling "car" in the US.

Let’s just say $2K for the car, $2K to fix it and and $2K for the ironic Discovery Channel/History Channel favorite car customizer stickers, cosplay uniform and fake tats!

First thing I was going to say was: “I can’t bring a camera (camera phone) into my lab at the office.” I can bring a watch without issue. It does an amazing job of keeping time!

Been driving for 30 years and every car I’ve owned had that bottle installed by me. Along with nitrile gloves, shop rags, full-size spare, wheel chocks, a spare bulb for all the major lights, spare fuses, a blanket and a tool kit. Never be unprepared.
