yeah. especially a kids.  earbuds get loud as fuck.  theres a reason most phones have volume level limiters when youre plugged in.  my fold 3 only plays at max volume through headphones for about 5 minutes then itll turn it down and make you turn it back up.  which kinda sucks for using the aux cable in my old car…

I had the same revelation watching the latest Power Rangers. The newest Green Ranger is an open lesbian, and has a girlfriend. They hold hands, they kiss each other (on the cheek so far).

As the parent of two kids, six years apart: They are not scared, confused, upset or anything else by LGBTQ people.

The first time my youngest asked, around first grade, it went like this:

“Why are those two women kissing?”

“They’re in love. Some couples are a man and a woman, some are a man and a man and some are a woman…

I’ll attribute it to the lack of Muslim leads in general, but the idea that we’ll have a Muslim main character shown praying who isn’t a terrorist feels like a breath of fresh air.

Of all the multiverse movies at the moment, this is the one I’m looking forward to most. Looks like so much fun.

David Tennant was excellent as the rather obscure Marvel villain Purple Man, and Matt Smith looks like the best part of this sad attempt at an MCU adjacent project. But in truth I’m just waiting to see what villain Jodie Whitacker ends up playing 4 years from now.
