That leaves basically no incentive for app developers to make Android tablet apps - while some tried, the platform never really reached critical mass, with the possible exception of Amazon’s Fire tablets, which really are just cheap media consumption devices (as in, not a lot of people wanting to drop $5+ on an app…

Yup - my wife is currently using a Surface Pro 4. She is not a huge fan of the stylus.

The missus is an illustrator in her spare time. She does most of her work in Photoshop, but last week we stopped by an Apple store to test drive an iPad Pro with Procreate on it. As she put it, some of the artists she follows have made the leap, and she wanted to get a feel for how the app performed.
