Facts are; Masks are useless (per Faucci)

This is how it felt back in the day when I quit WoW, right before Cataclysm came out. It was a huge relief. I came back for Classic and was bored, but I decided to check out all the stuff I missed in retail.

It’s actually been great because the fear of missing out is gone. Everyone is already way past me. But it

If everyone is going to own their own self-driving vehicle, then nothing is truly changed or solved — we’ll have streets, roads, freeways, and highways every bit as crowded (and more, population growth and all). The IDEA is that people won’t NEED to own their own vehicles anymore, that automotive transportation

I am a 90s girl and to this day still maintain that Mellon Collie is one of the best alternative albums ever released and that Tonight, Tonight is one of the best music videos ever created. The Pumpkins still have great replay value, though I will admit that “The Perfect Drug” and “Closer to God” are as far as I go for

As a kid that hit middle school a year after this album came out, Jagged Little Pill felt like the first time I had permission to be ANGRY or disgruntled.

I hear you, but it’s not monetary benefit, it’s time constraints. Kotaku has a very small team, and taking the time to run full transcripts of all of our podcast interviews would mean one of us (likely me or Maddy) sitting down and taking the hours to transcribe those whole interviews, which just isn’t practical. (I’d

Only real reason Simon’s Quest had problems IMO is the horrid translation, making for some unreasonably obtuse puzzles.

GSO satellites, yes. But Starlink and the new breed of sat internet will not be GSO-based. The will be in LEO, with latencies and speeds comparable to the best high-end internet available in the US already. It will be game changing. And most importantly — available *everywhere* on Earth, 24/7/365.

Answer to the closing question: SpaceX’s Starlink, and other similar projects that are getting off the ground right now. Those big ISPs are about to find themselves competing in a wholly different world. And when businesses actually HAVE to compete, the customer invariably wins.

Hmm, wonder what the difference is then. I’m on a 50mbps link, but am in Miami which I guess is close to a Google Datacenter, and it blew me away how crisp everything looked. I was looking out for streaming artifacts and couldn’t see much, that first intro of the eagle soaring over the islands, zero lag/stuttering.

The man just doesn’t get it. Just like he didn’t get it the last time.

I think he’s already been replaced by that marshmallow dude... this is all some sort of false flag to get his name back in the spotlight.

It’s bizarre to me that this culture war isn’t just over at this point. The supreme court recognized that gay folks essentially have the same rights as straight people, they are getting married everywhere, nothing bad is happening — maybe it’s just time to let it go and admit that Leviticus is just some old bullshit

As someone who *didn’t* own a Wii U, the re-releases are great. I get to play Mario Kart! :D

Reading your comment and then your username made me chuckle. ☺️

I laughed at the Switch and awaited its failure, going so far as to call it Nintendo’s nail in the coffin. I was sure we’d see a PS4 of Xbox Zelda within a few years as Nintendo left the hardware business to focus on developing.

For the hardcore who owned a WiiU, the rereleases may be annoying, but given how few consoles Nintendo managed to selllast time round, I don’t blame them for trying to get their money’s worth out of those games now that they’ve got access to a wider audience.

The Nintendo Switch has made me enthusiastic about gaming again.

No, he would have wanted this to be the default grip shipping with the system.

How the fuck has no one caught your Gibson reference yet? I am disappointed.
