I feel as though cheering about Osama's death is very different though. He was a real person. No one should cheer the death of a real person, no matter what they've done. Go ahead and cheer Joffrey's death all you want though. I certainly enjoyed it.

I don't get these shows. Isn't the VH1 audience aware that there's porn on the internet?

Sorry, didn't know it was a joke.

I loved it. The Meeseeks was one of the coolest sci-fi/fantasy ideas I've ever seen and I think the darkness of stuff like the Jellybean really helps the show. Just like the mistreatment of dogs in the 2nd episode the fact that they really take the dark stuff seriously (while still producing a lot of humour out of it)

You're not really supposed to read AV Club reviews before you watch the episode.

I refuse to negotiate with reviews which are only written to get on Metacritic.

Did critics get this episode early as well as the pilot? Because I really didn't understand the hype about Enlisted until now. This was so much better than the pilot. Perez actually worked as part of the group, the side characters were hilarious and the Piz/Keith David ending showed depth that the pilot just didn't

Yeah, I think Harmon's influence on directing/editing/non-writing stuff is really underrated. A huge part of the problem with Season 4 is that it's badly edited and directed at times which killed the comedy. This is incredibly noticeable in the finale where despite the fact that they are having a paintball gunfight

You're aware you can stream straight to youtube, right?

Yeah, I'm not sure I'm on the same page with HIMYM any more because this episode was barely a B episode, unless we're just comparing it to this season. The Marshall stuff continues to be unwatchable, Lily continues to be grating, Loretta is way too ridiculous for those emotional moments to work and I still have major

I liked the pilot a lot better than this episode to be honest although that's not saying a lot as I got bored and stopped watching 3/4 of the way through this episode.

D-, Barney was ridiculously cartoonish, as were Marshall and Lily (plus I don't think I even like them any more), Victoria was suddenly a bitch despite everything we've already seen of her and Ted was incredibly out of character to even consider ditching Robin for Victoria. The only reason it wasn't an F is that Cobie

They've been bad since before the baby.

The fact that he would even consider Victoria's proposal is just so out of touch with the character.

No, she's a shitty Miami Metro cop.
