I sometimes feel that way, but if you do anything remotely close to regular commuting with that thing, you’ll learn to loathe it. Mileage is terrible, power is non-existent, the car is susceptible to cross-winds on the highway....I could go on.

How much are fares? In Toronto - admittedly a huge city, there is no universe in which Uber and Lyft can undercut public transit fares, largely because the government subsidizes public transport with TAXPAYER money. It’s not exclusively funded by fares, Jesus.
