I guess shipping LNG works if you’re a small nation and anything less than a million cubic meters of gas fits your country’s needs. But for big markets like the EU? That’s gonna need a thousand LNG supertankers.

I don’t know. Maybe. Russia seems to play Gas Company to Ukraine every six months or so, and Ukraine be like, “I swear, we mailed the check!!” And then Russia be like, “Okay, we’ll give you an extension, since you have kids and all.”

Hmmm sounds like that could definitely be it. But wouldn’t it be impractical though to actually ship LNG transatlantic? It’s not only slow, but there’s only so much that a ship can carry.
