I was really disappointed with True Grit, too.

It's got so many funny moments. "You brought your BITCH, to the waffle hut!"

It was marketed wrong when it came out, as a "broad" type comedy. It's actually an awesome movie: really funny, unique characters, cool soundtrack and is full of that distinct Coen Bros. dialogue.
