It’s really weird to say this, but $300 for teeth cleaning sounds reasonable. I’m in Seattle and we don’t have a dog, but a friend of mine was just complaining to me that she was quoted $1200 to get her dogs’ teeth cleaned, and that was if nothing had to be pulled.

In southern ca that runs around 800-1000. The cleanings themselves with anesthesia start at 400 I think.

Ha, yeah, it’s not cheap. My guys were all too old to take to having their teeth brushed by the time I got them, and none of them has naturally great teeth. About every year and a half, all three need a professional dental cleaning, and usually a few teeth removed while they’re at it.

And dogs too. My otherwise sweet old pup will have NONE OF IT and we’ve removed like 7 teeth in the last 2 years. The good teethie treats are bullshit I guess.
