Oh yeah, let's see you start a windows machine from the command line! Then I'll be impressed.

The 15 minute rule works for me. Just spend 15 minutes when you get home on whatever needs the most attention. Usually I'm doing dinner prep or reheating something during this time anyways. Even a messy home will be drastically improved over a week with 15 minutes a day of completely focused cleaning.

@DesignHobo: Why is it that everyone who complains about macs has never had, nor used a mac? There are actually quite a few setups without Macs: [lifehacker.com]

@Aitese Odigie: If you don't have the discipline to send in the form, it isn't the business' fault or the government's business. There's nothing sneaky or dishonest about it.

@meow-mixer: that's probably because it isn't very important. Once you work is tied to the food on the table, you'll understand.

I prefer ensemble for mac. I've tried some PC ripoffs, but none of them were fast enough, I guess b/c they lack gpu acceleration. Does anyone know of a decent windows version of ensemble?

@A3sthetix: a man-in-the-middle attack would be good if you added an ethernet dongle

I bought a pair once in Chicago just to keep bums from talking to me.

how about replacing that crt and stacking some of those external peripherals or putting them on the floor. but i guess that's too simple/practical to impress the ladies..

@dwardio: you should draw a picture with ASCII art.

I agree with the comment above. This doesn't tell you how to answer the question. It would be useful to know how to address the question honestly while still making your case.

Just toss some liquid smoke flavor on it and throw it on the foreman. j/k, kinda... I live in an apt so my options are kind of limited. The funny thing is I'm in Texas where Mesquite is more of a nuisance than anything.

Lifehacker becomes a little more Giz every day...

@Torley: what kind of post-processing did you do here?

@kikolani: get a refurb macbook pro if you want to do video editing, or something other than a mac.
