Kya did decently well against Ming-Hua, all things considered. Ming-Hua seems to have the most killer instinct of all the Red Lotus, and Kya isn't really much of a fighter. She's the hippie type, spent her life wandering. Tenzin's the one who's trained his entire life, not her. I think Kya depends entirely on natural

I'm still having a hard time gauging just how bad it would be if Daniel didn't take the plea deal and went back to trial. I know you can't put a percentage on his chances of beating the charges this time (even though I want to), but I think I'd like a little more shading around the situation? We know that DA Persons

Agreed, it's not like the show hasn't turned in a heightened dramatic scene before (that didn't involve a bizarre, surreal, one-off character). Every time Amantha gets hotheaded and raises her voice, or Daniel pushes back against her, or when Bobby attacks Daniel, or hell, even the fantastic final Kerwin scene, which

Well, it didn't make sense that he said "no fire" since firebenders almost always generate their own fire.

Yeah plus I think we're well aware that Rollins is perfectly capable of expressing emotions, especially of the angrier variety. So it's clear the way he speaks is very intentional.

+1 for bringing in a reference to last night's Garfunkel and Oates, if that's what you did.

Really? I mean, I wasn't HUGE on Amon being a hypocrite bloodbender, but it does go in line with the sorts of false platforms so many dictators / terrorists stand on. But I can accept that some people see that as a flaw in the antagonist. But . . . murder-suicide + Korra contemplating suicide before being awakened? I

Damn Sava, you're really on the ball with the new release times. Big ups.

But she could throw up walls to block the lightening just like Katara did.

Did you know your comment got posted on reddit and got 1500+ karma so far?

Plus lightning is not an automatic water-beater. Remember Katara had the balls to use water to deflect / block Azula's lightning attacks.

The episode actually released earlier than scheduled (like 6AM EST) on Amazon, so for $1.99 or $2.99 (HD) you can still watch it day of.

We're meant to believe that even after Bolin and Mako gave it their all, Ming-Hua and Ghazan still had a good chance to catch Asami. Ming-Hua tells Ghazan to go after them, I'm not sure they would have split up if they knew Asami must be out of range by now. I'm assuming the Red Lotus have their truck they stole from

She's the Avatar but she should realize by now that she gets knocked out before all the important fights.

Sava, you're going to continue covering the show like you said, right? Because the new episode's been out all day.

First

It's true, they would. Which I can understand that Korra's still hotheaded and feels violated after being drugged in her own bedroom, and Mako and Bolin pretty much just follow her. But I look to Asami to be the voice of reason. It's a little surprising she didn't say, "hey guys, this is a fucking bad idea."

Like some people have been saying, the Order of the Red Lotus may be a much larger organization than Zaheer's team of four. My thinking is that it's much better than just Zaheer and Aiwei. I think someone else was pulling the strings while Zaheer was locked up.

In addition to being the reason Team Korra are in Zaofu in the first place (which has led to the biggest arc of the season), and the aforementioned connection to Bolin, she's also Su Yin's daughter and Lin's niece, and she had some bonding moments with Korra too. Basically she's tied to everyone except Mako and Asami,

I think the chances of season 5 happening are slim to none at this point, and I think that's good. Bryke (the creators) have said that they want to wrap up Korra's story with this 4 book arc, and having an endgame in mind in advance is always better than treading water not knowing if each season will be your last. I
