My real question is:  HOW much ACTUAL micro transactions?  There is literally an article from kotaku above us discussing how Nintendo will limit micro transactions in order to not be received as dicks by the child rearing populace, a la me.

I am inherently worried about this exact thing for my 5 year old, who coincidentally is just getting into MARIO kart. I have the Wii U tablet he can play it on (and yea he’s dropped that thing once already). If there’s not a way to simply buy the whole thing then fugget it.
