Ok, i get the rock and a hard place stuff. But that was July.

Well, for 40 years ago I was thinking of the 747 but couldn’t remember when that exactly came out.

This isn’t the same rant, but it’s baffling to me that up until basically 2 years ago planes were effectively the exact same machines that they were 40 years ago, and sometimes more.
