It’s cute that we’re pretending to know what the weather will be like in 50 years. I’ll file this along with the 1970's prediction of an impending ice age.

These headlines are always so definitive. Most of them never come true.

I want to believe the science behind this is solid, but not one disaster prediction due to climate change has come true so far. If the weatherman is always wrong, you stop believing him after a while.

Kinda like this was clear evidence of fracking leaking so much fuel into the river that it caught fire?

Don’t worry. In about 30 years someone is going to use this post to laugh about how far off “they” were back in the day.... just like we do to every prediction article printed in years past.

“We are going to lose most of our coral reefs.”

In 1999, Professor Ove Hoegh-Gulberg, a leading Australian reef alarmist and administrator of more than $30 million in warming grants, did claim the reef was threatened by warming, and much had turned white.

You know what he/she meant. Her whole shtick is climate alamism. I call tell it’s here the second I read the headline. Maddie pretty much looks like this most of the time I am sure:

Every single article that gets posted by Maddie is an end of the world doomsday article. Yes, Coral Reefs are dying. Telling us this isn’t gonna solve the problem. You want to make an insightful article? How about you tell us ways to reduce the carbon emissions like they say in the article. One person can’t make a

Weird how I could play all sorts of SNES games like Yoshi’s Island, Final Fantasy VI, and Donkey Kong Country on my Gameboy Advance 10 years ago. And I could play Ocarina of Time on my 3DS 5 years ago.

But Super Metroid on an old 3DS? A bridge too far for Nintendo.

So many greatest-hits from the SNES are on the portable virtual console (EARTHBOUND), finally, but the two things lingering over this are:
1) New 3DS only. I’ve heard their explanation, it’s adorable.
2) Still no shared purchases via the Nintendo Account. I bought all of these on Wii and again (for a discount) on WiiU.

I believe latter ones are sign of protest against blizzard shutting down that vanilla server. and rightfully so.

“We don’t know why they’re doing this DDoS attack! It’s not like we angered a bunch of gamers by shutting down a private server or something...”

You know, societal norms aren’t necessarily bad.

It’s about not being a nasty disgusting pig.

Also health is a real issue - if you don’t bathe regularly you’ll get some very nice skin infections.

People don’t dislike body odor because of “societal norms.” They dislike it because it smells horrendous. There are people I encounter at least once a week who consistently smell and I have to try very hard to not literally gag over the stench. “De-stigmatizing” body odor doesn’t stop it from smelling awful.

I’m fully aware of everything in this article. I however, still choose to shower every day because despite commonly held belief, I am not in fact a goddamn savage.
