Looks like a traditional kart gas tank, so they most likely didn’t bother changing. Wouldn’t give them any added benefit to have a smaller tank - assuming they don’t fill it up for short runs.

My kinda Pokemon
True, but what was the original xbox one compared to when it came out? gt 870m? LOL
In 2 years, a gtx 1070 will still be solid. It’s a hell of a lot better than having the current Xbox in 2 years.
I wanted this to be mobile so bad!
Left behind? That is gtx 1070 range.
4k?
I really wish Kotaku was it’s own separate entity.
Yeah I could see that. I don’t know. I want to see the dataset. I still think Lexus is ridiculously expensive.
Mayonnaise, hat was fan taste ick.
But this isn’t Edmunds. If, like you say, the brake system will catastrophically fail, the average maintenance costs would reflect it. RIght? Because you’d have a huge repair in 6 or 7 years, like you say.
For one, Edmunds does estimated costs. If the car needs the fluid change, Toyota will do it and charge you.
SO. Would you rather throw away money on something that doesn’t need to be done or repair “as needed”? Regardless, cost to own equations like this are still accurate. BMW will make you get fluid changed when my…
It’s not gaming any system. It was inspected and found not needing replacement.
No, but that brings up a good point! If this is from mechanic charges, stuff that was covered under your warranty might still show up on this report... interesting. Wish we had their dataset.
Right, but this article does factor in repairs as well.
I had my Tacoma for 4 years. The brake fluid was inspected, but never changed.
I’d disagree. I think it cuts out unnecessary maintenance. My Nissan Maxima calls for the CVT fluid to be changed every 30k miles at $400 a pop. What does the actual mechanic’s manual call for? ~100k miles.
Plus factory maintenance?
I’d say the more accurate viewpoint would be mileage. 7 year old car without new tires? I had new tires every 3 years. That was over$2k right there.
Uh. 2 were riders. Heat related.
