Yeah, I didn't bother to check if it's still the same creative team, but this season seems to be willfully distancing itself from inheriting Season 1's unresolved plots. Actually, the final three eps of last season makes it seem like the creative team didn't like what they had even back then. They aborted the vectors'

Hah, yeah, the season one epilogue/cliffhanger seems to have been indifferently tossed out. Sarah was all, "Alan blew up Ilaria Corp … THE END; LET'S MOVE ONTO THE HOT ZONE!" I guess the Ilaria Corp adventure will play out as minor flashbacks this season?

It touched me here. *points to heart*

"It's not Narvik."

Ah, I see you didn't like being called a shill. Sorry you interpreted my mockery of your A grade as "anger" (and a "conspiracy theory", LOL). I didn't mean to make you defensive.

… Please. There were no torrents of these two eps this morning and you know it. The first four raters gave As, which is a total shill move. Those people were gonna rank it an A, whether or not they saw it (which they did not, because even now—an hour before the East Coast premiere—there are no torrents for these two

Maybe at Alex McCown's review? Just for the first couple of episodes, at least. I don't see one comment section being capable of holding 13 eps' worth of yammering.

OLOLOLOLOLLLOLOLOLO!!!!!111!!!1one!!11one!!1eleventy-one!!111

She was on Falling Skies last season. She was in a subplot that existed completely separate from any of the show's other plots.

Wow, you must have been horribly sick to have subjected yourself to all those episodes in a row. I only made it through the season because I had this comment section with which to commiserate between weekly eps.

Hah! I just noticed this reply. Did you just catch up on this show to prep for Season 2?

Mmh, yes, I guess my semi-sarcastic fanwank didn't come across clearly (I swear I thought that emoticon was a blatant tell). This isn't canon; I'm merely extrapolating the intent of the production team when they had Korra reply to Asami and not anyone else. As I said, it's a narrative cheat, but it's all we're given.

That's fine 'cause it would still reduce her ability to aim. They don't need to stop her from firing the weapon, just prevent her from targeting. I noticed in the show that she needs to pose the mecha before firing. The air benders just have to keep her preoccupied with swatting them away.

Mmh, yes: "falling tornado". That's a better description of it than what I came up with: a descending, spinning air column. (¬_¬) The air benders should have really made that their tactic: prevent Kuvira from aiming at all (they already started with the paint bombs).

They became absolute besties during the 3 year gap. Korra was writing Asami regularly. Asami was her only connection to the happenings of Republic City.

She was such a doormat non-entity when she was introduced that I actually thought she was a version of Joo Dee. This season, however, really elevated her to someone I cared about. I felt so triumphant for her when Varrick proposed.

He told you:

He's not looking to be civil. He dislikes the show and wants to share his misery. He's here to shit on other people's feels, LOL! That makes him feel better.

I loved how Bolin executed that maneuver: elbow thrust, foot stomp, followed by arm sweep. Something about that just looked really awesome to me as the building cracked and separated in the background.
