Oh, Korra. It's been an uneven four seasons, but I connected with you much more than I ever connected with Aang. Regardless of your rough reception, I love you the best! Farewell.

He might be referencing the surprise character shown at the end of the mid-season finale.
Why are you not using your usual D.R. Darke account?
I said, SUP RHETT NOOSE BETS, MARIA!
Alright. How about, He completely misinterpreted this article's separate news bits? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
You've completely misread my response.
Ryan Douchenozzle (who tanked once already as Green Lantern!) and Bandersnatch Cumberbund (who looks like a cross between a fish and mushroom) in the same movie!
If Nolan had to sit through Tom's extended speeches, he'd probably say, "You know, I enlisted pretty young, so I never got a chance to experience high school. This right here? Pretty much what I imagined it would be like." Then he'd give Tom that condescending smirk and walk away. I'm not sure what Datak would say.
I agree this show needs an overarching storyline to drive the season. This season had individual, season-long arcs for Irisa, Datak, and Pottinger, but they were totally unrelated to each other. The rest of the characters were basically just handling their daily business.
I guess the tonal discrepancy between Lexi and the rest of the show was just too big a gap for me to hurdle. One thing Helix did well was handle tonal juxtaposition in an engaging manner. Falling Skies didn't properly integrate that kind of contrast into what they were doing with Lexi (I certainly don't think it was…
Ah, no, I fell behind in watching, because I had family visit from out of the country, and it started this domino effect of me falling behind in everything I was watching! I caught up with Defiance first, since that show at least delights me even if it's not living up to its potential. This show constantly elicits eye…
I finally caught up to the finale for this season! On the one hand, this season held my interest more than the boring Charleston arc of Season 3. On the other hand, the tone of the writing and the directorial style totally devolved into campy clichés and wooden melodrama.
The visuals implemented as Tommy wasted away were great. Irisa in a dress, standing among the trees, was a nice shot. I also liked how it began to snow inside the police station as that memory ended, and the scene returned outdoors in the present.
I enjoyed this finale better than last season's. In fact, overall, this season was a marked improvement over last year. I'm happy for that progression, and I'm hopeful that next season will display just as big a refinement.
• I'm fine with using the following Thursday's Defiance review for new Falling Skies topics. I was just using this thread to do an overview of the first half of the season in general. It's just more immediate to comment on the available thread once the Sunday show airs.
Whiteface has its own wiki article! Whiteface (performance)
That's Falling Skies for you! Oh, Falling Skies, what wackiness will you be up to next?! *cue laugh track*
If you haven't yet tried this season … just don't. The opening episodes were interesting in how they veered away from the outcome of Season 3, but the most recent episodes have been bad dialog, bad subplots, and bad characterizations. The action has been mindlessly entertaining though!
And hey, is Falling Skies worth downloading?
what the hell are the "walls" that "came down".
