It's when Slade was pointing a gun at Ollie's head on the island. It was part of Ollie's Shado speech towards the end of the episode.

This episode not only mentioned Slade's kid, Ollie also specifically mentioned his name, "Joe". Joe > Joseph > Jericho > Teen Titans

I do like that about the character. I just think it's foolish for her to run for office when she's got this much baggage. She was willing to take life in prison just to hide her affair with Merlyn, how much worse is what's to come?

That's the problem with the Mirakuru concept: as long as it's out there it becomes the catch-all superpower origin. The show is gonna have to find a convincing way to close that off somehow. I wouldn't want that gimmick to be the crutch that explains all the upcoming metahumans.

I think they're giving her tiny doses to avoid turning her into a bloody mess. I don't know if Blood/Slade wants to actually turn her into a super-powered person. They probably just want her to be insane.

Man of Steel was probably the worst superhero/comic book movie I've ever seen.

Yeah, I suppose that as long as Ollie is still owner of the club, he'd be solely liable for that aspect of the business. I guess what I find dubious is that Thea basically gets to take over operations of a club, as long as a legal adult's name is on paperwork somewhere. Sounds like a legal quagmire, since Ollie is

Suicide Squad is comprised of criminals. They're not really meant to be wholesome protagonists. Whether or not you root for these characters depends on how open you are to antiheroes, and, of course, on how well the writers make them sympathetic.

I agree with your complaints about how storytellers badly handle the hero's dual identities. However, that's a storytelling failure, not an actual reason to abandon secret identities. There are many consequences to being a known superhero, aside from the whole retaliation-against-loved-ones trope.

Merlyn is probably maintaining that estate via proxies. Somebody's paying the garage's electric bills at least. He's probably pulling strings to ensure the legal system is kept away from his property.

I suspect Brother Blood is attempting to flood Laurel's system with Mirakuru. They're doping her to make her out to be like a druggie in preparation for her upcoming disbarment hearing. This could also be Slade's step towards destroying people that Ollie and Sara care about. Laurel can't just be killed off; she has to

I suspect that the guy at the bar is doping Laurel with Mirakuru.

I believe the liquor license belongs to Oliver. He started Verdant, and I think Thea is simply running the place on his paperwork. That arrangement is obviously of very dubious legality, and that club would likely be shut down if someone complains, but the specific liquor license is probably legitimate.

Moira's storyline also has a dark undercurrent to it, because she apparently can't let go of the habits she picked up as part of the Undertaking. In this episode she was making implications about the fate of her OB who knows about Thea. At best they'll have to pay him off; at worst, he'll be killed off.

No, even in the show the FX crew applies makeup as part of the general look. This is a visual styling that comes and goes with the mask. This is just the way TV/movies deploy superhero masks.

He is clearly wearing makeup. The official promo images show the makeup, and a screencap off of the CW's episode player shows it as well. This is normal nowadays.

*shrugs* Maybe Ivo douses her corpse with Mirakuru and it builds a clone of her via accelerated DNA regeneration! Lazarus Pit! The clone will be the gross, rapey Shado from the comics. Ta-daaaaaa!

The rights to a Sexy MF party! Who's gonna show up now if people can Gett Off in their own homes?! Prince wants to know When Will We Be Paid?

I actually only found out about him this month. I don't know how long he's been acting this way, but he's burned through a ton of IDs just in the past few weeks. It really is pretty crazy.
