I'm responding to his statement about "…look at how many damn DC comic characters Arrow puts in EVERY episode…". He then proceeded to list cameos pulled from Arrow's entire run so far. That's 32 episodes' worth of characters.

I agree that camouflage paint would have been a good direction to go with his face smear. That's such a good idea. In fact, his entire costume could have benefitted from military camo patterns.

I once saw a show do that (can't remember which one), but it wasn't much better. You could see the medic doing this weird jerky thrust with his upper body to simulate chest compressions, and it was kinda hilarious. On the plus side, his arms were straight ROFL!

Deadshot is the sniper who killed Diggle's brother. Deathstroke is Slade from the island. Both characters have their right eyes missing because of Ollie (well, it's just my guess that Slade's right eye is missing because of Ollie; the show hasn't gotten to that part yet).

I'm just baffled that this needed repeated explaining. This is a simple math comparison: 32 > 10. The logic failure here is staggering, LOL!

I find it baffling that his parents didn't consider the implications of naming their child as such. Maybe they did and they thought it would be hilarious? Even Lief would have been a better alternative (though also with its own set of implications).

Mmhh… I could see that angle, though I think it's unlikely. That's sort of like The Game (1997), and while I like that idea, I don't know that the show is even hinting at such a thing. You're right, though, in that it's increasingly straining credulity that Ollie never suffers any permanent physical damage on the

I agree; the value of a character is entirely dependent on the creative team's capacity to tell engaging stories. Prior to CW's Arrow, I barely cared about Green Arrow as a character. The last comic I read with him in it was the execrable Cry for Justice.

I liked how Barry made a speech about how the face paint wasn't effective concealment … then produced a mask that wasn't any better at concealment.

I always laugh at TV CPR. I don't know how they'd get around it though. Realistic CPR would necessitate actual chest compressions that will surely never be allowed (not just for the recipient's comfort, but for liability purposes should a sternum crack).

I thought he was being sarcastic, because that show does not seem great, nor better than Arrow. I could be wrong, but I'm not familiar with @avclub-2bfea0e462ce8eb5d35e5087c65cad7e:disqus, so he might well be deliberately insulting. @avclub-62ae6d9e1a24836a391716549223464f:disqus's response seems more in line with the

LOL is my point just flying over everyone's head? You can't take 32 episodes' worth of material and expect the competition's 10 episodes to have the same amount of content. What is happening here?!

… Um, yes, having a common number of episodes is exactly my point. Again, I can't tell if you're agreeing with me or disagreeing with me ROFL! The common number of episodes at this time is 10.

The alignment of your username with @disqus_XFo5S4p2iB:disqus is fantastic! Anyway, do you have the shirt?

Speaking of his hood, I found it equally hilarious that he told Barry to "find me a mask that conforms perfectly to my face and doesn't affect my ability to aim while on the run," but his hood is a bigger obstacle to his vision! Its effectiveness in concealing his face also severely restricts his field of view. In

I'm just having a hard time emotionally connecting with the Nu52 versions of the heroes. Their motives and behaviors are so aggressively cynical that it's like Wildstorm heroes in DC clothing. The thing with Wildstorm is that they were cool because their aggressive cynicism had context in a juxtaposition against the

I, personally, don't think Barry Allen sucks, per se, but rather the nostalgia surrounding the character sucks. I mean, they sidelined an entire character (Wally) just to bring back Barry into the previous DC continuity. That's just all sorts of yuck on the same level as Hal Jordan's return, which marginalized Kyle

Yes, likely, but Ivo was never gonna shoot Ollie for some reason (even though he only kept Ollie alive to get to the Mirakuru, as per Sara's suggestion). It was a bizarre game that didn't seem to have a point (beyond tormenting Ollie). Maybe Ivo was revenging himself upon both Ollie and Sara ('cause Sara chose Ollie

Well, I'm not gonna go back and actually count the cameos in the first 10 eps of last season ROFL! That's so far outside my point anyway. I was saying that @Sini_Star:disqus tallied up cameos from both seasons of Arrow, but then contrasted that to SHIELD's ten eps, concluding that SHIELD delivers less cameos. That's a
