It's AVC style to capitalize all words in a title so we go with WOW rather than WoW. And the firebreathing is also an effect from Dragonbreath Chili which is an older recipe she's referencing. She only started playing as part of research for the cookbook — I had that in an early draft of the interview but it got cut

Actually D&D had no official presence at GenCon this year while Paizo again had a massive room. So it was even more sad.

I did the faction shift a while back because all my friends on the Alliance stopped playing and thankfully by then I could roll up a Blood Elf Paladin. The Cataclysm changes are great. Make sure to visit the Badlands if you haven't. There's a fantastic quest chain there.

I think high schoolers could absolutely benefit from this.

Hah hah. I've always wanted to live that dream but I've never gotten anyone to commit to a game of Arkham involving more than one expansion.

Hah. Was it just because it was about board games or is there some other writing quirk you identified?

Setup was not particularly hard and a lot of it was sorting components which you only need to do once if you're good about putting them back in the box where they belong. Figuring out the rules was a bit trickier but I suspect a lot of that was caused by this being a prototype. I'm hoping the finished product will

I love both Spyfall and Codenames. Also do you have the Villains of the Multiverse expansion? If so you should team him up with Citizens Hammer and Anvil who are amazingly fun to fight.

It's single player.

The tutorial is absurdly hard since you don't have healing and John can't Overwatch. After repeatedly dying there, I didn't wipe again until level 7.

The book presents some evidence to back that up.

Amen. Also Zutara forever. I don't care what canon says.

They do it every year.

I think I lost it somewhere in the Disqus conversion? Honestly I have no idea.

And it's filled with candy.

Hah! Tragically Squirrel Girl is lost to me for the foreseeable future because the developers realized she was far too powerful to be recruited in a normal fashion and released her as part of a special event. I was really busy at the time and didn't even discover it was happening until far too late. Also,

I honestly wish I had thought of that since I kept trying to find a way to put Fire Emblem: Awakening into the 'Gesty's because I love it so much.

Thank you for reminding me of this! I saw The Christmas Toy when I was really young and remember being extremely creeped out but couldn't remember enough about it to figure out what it was. Later I thought it might have just been a Toy Story inspired nightmare.
