... I've done exactly that! Wasn't a good move, and my cut partner was offended. But I much prefer intact.

Wow.... two things come to mind: 1. People on the internet are SO rude! and 2. Your closet is AMAZING.

I got cystic acne on my cheeks very suddenly when I was 22, and it persisted for about 9 months- but one day it stopped again, leaving me acne-free but with severe brown and purple scars. Nothing I tried really helped, and believe me, I tried everything. That was probably part of the problem- I would try a new

Are you... quite sure that this is Katy Perry? Something about her looks really different, and I don't think it's the green hair.

Oh, and I think that rich families are more likely to send their kids to local private schools, anyway: we were NOT spoiled at boarding school, and many whiney little rich kids would not have been able to deal with the strict rules, tough curfews, and frankly byzantine workload. Wouldn't a rich little bon bon want to

Yes, of course. Though I suspect that public school curriculums are less likely to introduce their students to the Marquis de Sade in their 18th Centurt French Literature classes- though admittedly I have no idea what public school reading lists look like.

I certainly agree that the testing does not represent raw intelligence in any way. But I do think that there is a correlation between kinky sex and intellectualism- speaking from a limited perspective, all of my friends who are deep into bondage are also very "cultured" and well-read. They tend to be interested in

Prep school kids are also very well read (they have to be, because the curriculum is so demanding) so they are likely to have encountered the Marquis de Sade rather before some of their peers. I went to prep school, and we read Voltaire and (limited) De Sade in my French Enlightenment class. We also read "Les

I went to one of those schools, and was constantly amazed by how talented and creative my peers were. It's not your average 13 year old who is motivated enough to take the SSATs, apply to prep school, and actually get in- many would rather be watching "Kardashians" and playing video games. And any student with the

There is a cultural stereotype - but I don't know how true it is statistically- about "brains and bondage"; that intellectual, well-read people are more likely to pursue kinky sex. So it would make sense that the self-selected, intellectually curious and horny teenagers at those prep schools would be experimenting

FAKE HAIR QUESTION

Anyone have a guess about this lipstick? Or an inexpensive one that might be the same color?

STOP THE PRESSES

It's nice that Taylor is so devoted to her gal friends- I see tons of pictures of her with Karlie Kloss, Lorde, and lots of other ladies. Female friendships FTW! Some of her songs make me worry that Tay would be a "I'm not like other girls" sort of chick, but she really seems to love and value spending time with her

Are we doing capris on men this season? Or are these just shorts on steroids?

Wait a second. There are tons of beautiful, iconic dresses in Gone with the Wind, and they pick THIS one? Not the drape dress? Not Scarlett's red dress? Not even the picnic dress? THIS ONE???

Jared Leto doesn't have a man-bun, he has a bun. Just like I have a bun right now. His hairdo doesn't have a penis or anything, it's still just a bun! Buns for all.

Exactly! It's like, okay, Beyonce has blond hair and a small waist and thick curves... didn't we already have Pamela Anderson? Kate Upton? Curvy blondes aren't that ground-breaking. Of course it notable that she's black, but still: Janelle Monae, Erykah Badu and even her own sister Solange are black women

My problem is not Beyonce's confidence or security- the problem is that she is mimicking the same old boring expressions of male-centric sexuality, i.e. looking like a mudflap image. It would be more exciting, and more admirable, if she was doing something groundbreaking or creative with her (admittedly great)

Hardly. Beyonce can do whatever she wants to- I take issue with the fact that she is being touted as a role model, specifically by this website. For myself, I prefer to look up to women who are doing something creative with their sexuality, rather than mimicking tired reiterations of the male gaze.
