you answered your own question.
the original 2x0 cars looked sleek, slender, agile.
typical
every car I’ve ever owned has had this capability, just don’t park in the garage.
can I put one on each wheel of my car?
Wouldn’t it be great to take that truck up to the lake? Throw a couple of sleeping bags in the back. Lie out underneath the stars.
ford explorer and off-roader? doesn’t sound fun to me.
sure, but costs of alternative fuels sources will drop at a rate that is greater than that to produce oil, so we will never realize the entire available supply, so it may as well be infinite.
I stumbled upon this at the beginning of the lockdown, and I greedily monitor for more content.
consider that the basic commute (for people who were still working in an office last December) is going to change drastically for lots of people, IE the commute goes from driving into an office, to walking from your bedroom to your desk.
nah, it’s simpler than that.
this was because they thought the supply was finite. based on the scanning technology of the day, and the possible methods of extracting that which they knew how to access. they didn’t bank on us being able to find more, and then develop methods to remove oil from the ground at a price that kept oil competitive.
This is a Cadillac Allante. Northstar edition. Double the horsepower. They don’t make ‘em anymore. It’s an American collectible classic.
I was on a kick to get one of these, went to a used dealer and they proceeded to tell me that my 4 door car didn’t have any trade in value because it had no utility, and thus was a niche car.
for the price, I’d show up with a gas cap to the sale and demand we switch it out and watch the CEL disappear before I put pen to paper. so maybe NP, and maybe CP?
in midsized SUV the Cherokee the leather seats are so soft and squishy. very nice. I don’t know that I’ve sat in any seats in that price range that compare. the VW SUV seats feel like I’m sitting on a pew in church they are so uncomfortable.
automatic makes it a CP, wagon drags it back to barely be on the NP side.
there are more options than old clapped out $200 bike, or $1600 bike.
one of the 3 bikes I ride regularly is a Kona Unit set up as the gods intended, SS with a rigid fork. it’s so fun, and for the ‘offroad’ riding I get to do around Houston, it’s perfect.
