    I have a 1987 Cannondale ST600. only way I know that for sure is cause it’s the only model from the time period that my bike is from that fits the color that the bike is. $700 in 1987, $300 when I bought it used nearly 10 years ago.

    seriously, even though she doesn’t work there any longer, she can very easily go find a lawyer that will go after them for workplace harassment. considering there’s another girl that worked there that quit over sexual harassment, this might be a good thing.

    if the bike lanes in your city are like the bike lanes in my city, they are woefully inadequate for people riding bikes. 

    step one, all vehicles marketed for personal use need to conform to the same standards. the distinction of passenger vehicle and truck needs to go away. same crash safety rules, same emissions rules, same everything.

    you’re imagining entire streets being closed. imagine instead a street with 4 lanes of traffic, and 2 of those being closed to cars.

    yup, not a bad idea to buy gap insurance if you do something like this. obviously, you should plan on hanging onto the car until you are right side up on the loan.
