Despite liking Jennifer Lawrence, I think she’s mostly awful in the X-Men movies, and her character is worthless (and appears too much). It’d be a shame to lose Fassbender (whose Magneto is fantastic) and to a lesser extent McAvoy, but they could probably be replaced while ALSO writing Mystique out.

I’ll offer this ray of hope. Probably won’t get out of the greys, but it’s worth saying.
