Agreed, the only benefit out of a study like this is to finance more MRI studies to one day substitute MRIs with CT Scans, other than that, CTs are essential for Head Injuries and traumas

Even though its usually me being sceptical and trying correlate stuff to other things, but im with the author on this one. Even though its typically traumatised kids that get a CT, its still the most reasonable that the radiation produced by the CT is correlated directly with Cancer

The problem is that there's only 2 radiationless alternatives to CT: MRI and Ultrasound, with the first being extremely expensive (and slow, while most kids need to be sedated after an injury to lay still) and the US being too complex (needs experienced physicians/pediatritions)
