I have only used the widgets for android, and in fairness thats all that’s been available for the last several years, so tell me what you like about the IOS widgets?

Is IOS really just now getting widgets? I’m happy for you and all, but they’ve been around for years. I really use to enjoy having them on my lockscreen before that functionality was removed. Nowadays I only use about three or so.

Why do you care? 

I hate to say it, but I never played the 3ds very much. I still have it around, but I pretty much stopped playing it a year or so after getting it.
