Yeah I can’t vouch for that particular model of vizio soundbar, but my Vizio s3821 is pretty great.

The staff usually isn’t paid enough to care. Policies that don’t help the consumer that’s bad.

I actually agree, this article sorta ignores the fact that people can be in desperate mode. It’s an article for people who are privileged enough to have options.

I remember a person telling me for my first job out of college (it was a call center) that I should keep my head down for two or three years. She was also complaining about how the people at the top were the only ones who got raises and promotions. In my head I was thinking, “I’m planning to work here for a year and

I’ll never understand why teachers don’t get paid more for essentially being part of the team that simultaneously trains the future adults of society and puts up with terrible kids all day.

I had a position last year where everyone (or nearly everyone) I worked with joked about how crazy I was for coming back into work, and how I should get out while I still can. It might have been funny if any other jokes were being made, but seeing as how they weren’t well.....

Yeah I definitely don’t wait around to see if they are going to hire me, I’m applying elsewhere. Now if they do get back to me before I get hired by someone else I will probably take it.

For fiction books I recommend listening to at least some of it on audiobooks. If you have a lot of books there is nothing like stuffing in a few extra chapters while driving to get you through it and move on to the next one.

I just want my lockscreen widgets back.......

Sorry to hear that? I don't know, stuff that isn't always fair happens.

I'm so glad you nominated this as I had no idea it existed, not I just need to give the library a call so that I can remember my PIN.

I didn't know that anyone was really competing with Audible (other than sites like the one in my picture of course) so I'm voting audible.

That's actually a really good point about vacations. Good vacations can give experiences that last a lifetime.

The things that tend make me happy are things that I can look at as an investment. If I buy something that I can get long term use out of like tools, a computer, a new pair of shoes, etc tend to make me feel good.

I have a pair like that, but I don't really care for the way the parts on the fingertips look. They are lovely, warm, and they work, but I just received a pair this Christmas that don't have the fingertip things. Don't ask me how they work, but they do and they're leather to boot.

I don't mean to come across as preachy, but if you like a book enough just buy a hardback version, or leather if you can find it. Granted some books don't come out in hardback, but some things are worth a little extra money, and good books are definitely one of those things.

Of course I don't know these people, but considering that they are scamming a company who has zero integrity in the first place I just have to say good for them.

I have a chromecast, but I would rather not give Comcast the ad revene.

This has been a tough lesson for me to learn. However after an interview where they told me they were offering $4/hr below what the normal payrate was for IT work that they described as much harder than regular IT work both due to the dirty environment (warehouse) and the culture of those who worked there I decided to

Just torrent it instead. :P
Kidding to anyone who cares.
