It would be more efficient to use whatever electricity you are using to generate hydrogen to just charge your devices. You will always lose something in the conversion, so why convert twice when you can just do it once?

@Tristan Smith: Yea, and if I want it attached to the seat in front of me I will poke a hole in that seat and put the kickstand through it.

@wagedomain: I'm a bit baffled why iDevices force you to be tethered and syncing all the time to do things. You've got an internet connection built in, why can't I stream a podcast?

How sad that you have to trick a manufacturer into letting you have functionality the device is perfectly capable of.

Hey I just bought a new xbox 360 for $300 by itself. Did I get ripped off?

@knightvash: Scissors can't cut without opening.

@kdjk5467: Cutting involves both opening and closing the scissors - opening being the least comfortable part.

@Vonbedda: We're not learning anything from it because it's a fictional film, not a documentary. Using scissors is not what is keeping us strong.

@xaronax: Yea what was with that? Are they sponsored by wheat thins or something?

How many hipsters does it take to plug in a boxee box?

Seems fine to me.

Just an old man remembering the good old days.

Well I found his linked in profile in hopes of messaging him to ask him what the story is, but apparently you have to pay to send people messages on there (worthless).

@MifuneT: Came here to say this. 400MBps = 3.2Gbps which is ... um... really fast.

4G was on in Salt Lake City a couple weeks ago. It was a Saturday night around 10 or 11 pm. I confirmed it with a speed test. Haven't seen anything since.

@PN - gooapplesoft: You can get them without contract but not without carrier - at least not easily.

@dantheman12: I did the same thing! Lol I was thinking the entire time - wow this is really good for Gizmodo and they haven't even mentioned how much they love Apple once!

@jedimario: In a totally free market things will only get worse in the wireless industry. The government (the people) still own the spectrum and if we pay for it we should have some say in what is done with it.

A surprisingly coherent editorial from Gizmodo. Oh wait, it's from a Wired writer ... the world makes sense again.

@sam-i-am: no more.
