I was born a US citizen in Vietnam to an American pilot and my Vietnamese mother. I am proud to be a third generation Airborne veteran. Receiving my grandfather’s wings was an honor. The unit I served with was regionally oriented with language requirements. More than 3/4 my team was of mixed ancestry.
