I’ve seen my share of cops with their shirts off.

I’m not attacking you, it’s just a weird perspective that Rain Dove shared and I do not think it strongly changes the predominant views that most people have (assuming they have any) of McGowan.

I think the problem with the written word is that tone is not included and thus it’s very easy to read a comment like yours

That’s nice, but it really doesn’t carry any water with me.

Like someone posted earlier on Twitter (regarding Bill Maher’s most recent “being Bill Maher” episode):

Maher is not a liberal. Never was. He’s a bigot (anti trans, anti muslim, anti religion, anti science, anti vaccine) who’s only consistent anti conservative stance is that he wants to smoke pot.

Jesus these people are dumb. $50 per month works out to $60k if you live to 100 and start at age zero. Plus, even if you only get $500k after taxes, you’re certainly gonna get more in interest than $50. Even if you put it in a savings account with a 0.5% annual interest, you would be making more than $200/month in

Another thought I just had: Despite media portrayals to the contrary, 99 out of 100 “this person started a company at age 22 and is now buying Caribbean islands for his pets” stories always include a line like “he started with nothing other than a $2m loan from his parents and free access to all their high-powered

Dark City is cool as hell and I’m glad this post reminded me of it. The way each shot is almost composed and edited like comic book panels is really neat and the movie is just god damn gorgeous to boot.

Right!? Women worried about guys’ Amazon fetishes and tall men sick of being complimented are exceedingly odd niches for the article to call out without any mention of the super-common challenges faced by most short men.

Weren’t a lot of innocent people fined, jailed, imprisoned or killed because of overzealous cops trying to flex their power and being unsatisfied with the idea of letting people go for minor infractions?

If you’ve never seen Dark City before, do yourself a favor and make sure you watch the director’s cut. The theatrical cut opens with a narrator telling you exactly what’s going on which spoils a lot of the plot. The director’s cut leaves that out and you get to discover what’s happening along with the protagonist.

Also The 13th Floor.

You need to add eXistenZ. It has a similar premise with The Matrix, though maybe on a smaller scale.

Also the 12 Monkeys show, it was friggen amazing.  Pretty sure it’s the only time travel TV show that wrapped its time travel elements up in a way that actually worked.

Messing with the timeline isn’t Q’s true goal. He did it to test Picard and his crew. Nobody really knows why the Q Continuum does this, but it has been part of the canon since TNG.

What part of this piece didn't you understand?

I don’t even consider “Per my last e-mail” to be excessively passive aggressive. To me, it’s succinct and to the point. But I’m the person who is out there trying to normalize more direct professional communication without all of the equivocating bullshit that we often expect (particularly from women) in the

Most of the body cam systems track in the video metadata if the recording was stopped by a local action (ie: the cop pressed the button) or remotely (in cases where remote access is possible)...

So the only thing that’s impossible is to believe the lies they are telling.

I don’t know, seems pretty easy to me to prove that he intentionally hid and lied about it.  Since I can prove, with computer logs that he downloaded it, and then... it vanished.  Didn’t turn it in as required and requested.  Lied on a police report about it.

More woke? Well, kinda, as the anti-abortion crowd is at the very least more pagan than the pro-choice crowd.
