To be fair, *we* use the word bacon to mean something it isn't. They don't call it "Canadian bacon," they call it "ham." And actual "Canadian bacon," or peameal bacon, isn't even the same thing.

It feels bizarre to me that there was a point (even recently) that Matthew McConaughey was considered something of a joke in certain circles. He's had some damned fine roles in the past, but Rustin Cohle is staggering.
Ah, the death of quality debate. "Show me ____ or else I'll believe nothing you say." Nevermind that it's well-reasoned, logical, or based in fact, the need for that one little example. Goddamn.
Again, that silliness of "she's hot, obviously there's *nothing* that he offers." As if women are these single-minded, shallow creatures. Some of them actually have things they like *in addition to* the guy's looks. Go talk to one, you might figure that out for yourself.
Guess what? Looks like you're in the minority. Just because something has been one way doesn't mean that people don't want it to get BETTER. We need to stop acting like children and start having discussions instead of arguments.
I meant establishing Capaldi as the 13th. Which I SAID, and which you would know if you weren't 1) in a rush to talk shit to someone, and 2) blind to anything that doesn't fit your already-set-in-stone-stance. Grow up and learn to read something fully.
Stop using a celebration of the show as your platform to deride someone for no reason. Moffat has given us MANY great moments, and this sickness that is "internet bravery" doesn't need to infect Who any more than it has.
Well if they want to officially call Hurt the "War Doctor," then I'm fine with that, though it leads to a whole situation that I mentioned in an earlier post, a future where Who fans have to explain, "No, the 10th is actually the 11th and the 11th is the 12th. Because John Hurt was the "War Doctor." No, I know it…
Well yeah, that was the intention of what I was saying. They'll come up with something. I'm just of the mind that we should call them by the proper numbers…though if they choose to call Hurt the "War Doctor", and have everyone have to explain, "no, the 9th was actually the 10th. Well, because the 8th became the War…
So, can we all finally acknowledge that Capaldi is the final (unless something changes, which we know it will) regeneration? John Hurt is an established link in the line of Doctors now, so there's no more using the "he's not really The Doctor" excuse. They addressed it all rather nicely in the show, and hell, that…
You're right to call him the Thirteenth. We got confirmation of the order - Hurt was the Ninth, making Tennant the 11th, Smith the 12th, and Capaldi number thirteen. I hope this is properly reflected, because otherwise it'll be confused when Capaldi is properly established.
Speaking of the Honey Boo Boo episode…it just feels like Trey and Matt have completely forgotten the lesson of that episode. Just…I'm so bummed out by South Park now that I don't even have the energy to argue about it any longer. I'm just done.
Can't disagree more. The entire thing felt half-assed. "The religious symbols form the Van Halen logo? AHAHAHAHAHAHA" "Jews speak differently? HAHAHAHAHAHA" Christ.
