I think Warhammer 40k has a LOT books like that. That are basicly just small stories and could be put in any universe with a few names swapped, because they have little to nothing to do with the “main” thing, relations between races, the way the Empire’s society is built and so on and so on. I’m still skeptical, despite enjoying the great new version. I think they are doing this to create some foundation for Injustice 2 that is announced for PC, but all the NetherRealm games were such a disaster regarding PC ports (and being swept under the rug remaining unfixed with MKX being the first exception) people…

Maybe it’s just me but I tried it last year and found it incredibly uncomfortable to play. The whole movement / controls / animations / standing next to each other rolling dices fight feeling paired with the ugly, UGLY graphics (with a few good sights I give it that) pushed me away after a good 7-10 hours.
