Honestly, if Trump had been president back when I was first deciding to enter the service...I wouldn’t have. I just can’t trust that clown to point my gun responsibly, not to mention all his shady entanglements with hostile foreign powers.

Actually, it’s worse than that. The officer is a full-bird O-6 Colonel, the highest rank before you put on stars. He’s probably been in the service for 15-20 years at this point, and is an expert in his field.

Oddly, no. The enlisted guys are a lot more diverse, demographically — more POC, more women, so it wasn’t a landslide for Trump with them. The officer corps is mostly straight white guys, and they threw their macho lot in with the orange monster because they thought it meant $$ for new toys. Whooops.
