You have to be so, so bored to care about the Indians Logo, Redskins Name, etc...

I wouldn’t shoot or dribble.

In their defense, it was mostly in a cab.

Are you kidding? The closing comment made it a perfect 10 (even from the Russian judge).

This might be the best post I’ve ever read.

Best analogy I’ve heard in a long time.

No shit sherlock, you’re totally missing the point. Just because you don’t have marketable skills, doesn’t mean you deserved to be treated like serfs.

To be a cynical prick but my first reaction earlier this season was “I don’t care if he’s a Pro Bowl kicker, he’s a kicker and thus expendable.”

The problem isn’t that they’re wishy-washy, it’s cause Goodell started this problem a decade ago when he started acting like it’s the NFL’s job to police players (see Pacman Jones).

As long as it doesn’t fuck up my fantasy stats I’m fine with the college/HS version of OT. While we’re at it, let’s get rid of those Thursday night games (hate having to set my lineups on Wednesday).

Hopefully the strikers learn an important lesson: Get educated, get some skills, or spend a lifetime earning minimum wage.

It is nice to see a competitive league but I wouldn’t call it a deep league. The EPL lacks a few heavyweight squads like they’ve had in past years

Yeah, I always tune into football to see someone try to block a FG.

...and the same fans who complain about too many penalties go apeshit when a penalty goes uncalled against their favorite team.

The is the same ESPN where their reported tweeted a player’s medical reports.

You’re absolutely right, the problem is in 2006, Goodell, in an attempt to act tough started dissing out punishments on players. The problem was the punishments were arbitrary and based heavily on how the winds of public opinion were swaying.

The NFL players are up against a monopoly so hard to leverage that (and plus their predecessors did a horrible negotiating job).

Messi’s response: “will it be a tax-free salary?”

I doubt very seriously if the good citizens will get riled up over an expensive baseball stadium.

It’s not like the NFL has any competition. Sure the level of play has dropped but it’s not like there is a rival league to expose that. That’s why the English Premier League can’t claim to be the best in the world cause there are other leagues out there to compare it with.
