I was genuinely surprised when McDonough was chosen by ESPN. He’s a good announcer but he’s one who tends to editorialize (and we know how much the NFL likes that). I remember him ripping Notre Dame coach Bob Davie years ago during a Fiesta Bowl (where UND was getting ripped by Oregon State).

I remember reading Flair’s autobiography years ago and he was giving Bret Hart shit over not dropping the belt before going to WCW. I remember SMH when I read that thinking: “is this the same Flair who took the NWA title to WWF giving another wrestler shit over doing the right thing?”

I remember him winning and it being such a great moment. Having said that, he wasn’t a big draw a champ (neither was Vader for that matter).

Yeah, it’s badass to attack an Asian person because of their race and leave him deaf in one ear. I guess those white supremacists are bad ass.

Wow, worse than all those Gulf Coast states, amazing state.

Even better is Rex Ryan is a Trump supporter.

But I can’t help thinking that self-promotion hasn’t factored into this pretty heavily. Google image search “Kaepernick August 2016" and then “Kaepernick September 2016"

Leave Atlanta out of this please.

How can someone like McElroy work for ESPN and not be aware of how TV markets are driving conference expansion.

A taxpayer-funded stadium and a message to cities that want teams: pony up tax dollars. Looks like they got EXACTLY what they wanted.

Surprised they haven’t blamed it on the national anthem controversy.

You’re right but it also should be noted the team tried to replace Norman with a bunch of rookies.

I don’t know if the Browns are on their schedule but I’m sure they’ll play them one of these years.

He’s a perfect baseball announcer.

He sounds like a fucking robot. So basically what I’m saying is a robot could do his job and cost a lot less.

It’s funny listening to Gator fans accuse Urban Meyer of being lax on discipline. It’s true but I don’t see those same fans demanding the school take down those two national title banners he won.

she get’s nothing.

You got it all wrong, he signs cleavages at Olive Garden.

Yes, when men try to wring every cent out of a situation, it’s known as being “smart” or “business-saavy.” When females or poor people do it, they’re “greedy.”

So apparently only men are allowed to be greedy.
