I actually work for SilencerCo as their cinematographer. I've got to shoot the Salvo a few times - and it's incredible. So quiet, you don't even realize someone is shooting a shotgun behind you.

hahaha for sure. Though, it could be really fun to take a super junky car and give it a classy photo treatment - like and 80s toyota truck or something like that.

I'd almost consider creating a Kickstarter project - raise the money, buy it, and leave it open for all indie filmmakers. (Cause who doesn't want to shoot in an abandoned building at one point or another, right?) But - taxes would probably be killer, huh? Not to mention the kind of liabilities you'd be dealing with.
