That got me too, what beyond “this is a clock” is needed? The only broader explanation I can even think applies is “this is a clock, I built this clock, to see if I could build a clock”.
Seems to me the three teachers need to be fired for racial profiling as should the cop(s) that wrote “kept maintaining it was a clock” and “offered “no broader explanation.” as if correctly identifying the object required greater explanation. I mean really I am blanking on what else could be said. What is an example…
