Magnetorheological dampers plus either hydraulic variable ride height or pneumatic variable spring rate.

1. Many people, well I’m projecting but I assume it’s many people, actually enjoy driving shitty beater cars. It’s an escape of sorts from driving something far nicer than you really need or deserve.

I don’t think they actually make blizzaks for this car’s shopping cart wheels.

Good price for a winter beater for folks up north. I bet if you haggle you could fix the problems and throw on some blizzaks and still be out less than $1,250

I don’t buy that as an argument. You can make any component in a car a stressed member of the frame. Many high performance cars do use their engines this way.

around 419 pounds, which is 150 pounds lighter than an equivalent horsepower V8.

People criticizing this kit probably said 2 years ago that the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante is a “work of art” and “instant classic”. Double standards are real!

DOHC engines can rev higher and faster, they’re more efficient, can make more power throughout the rev range, and having two cams to adjust with variable camshaft timing they can have all of the above at the same time. And better emissions.

Name a car on sale today in the US with this feature!

European Ford cars can be optioned with electrically heated windshields. Why the hell isn’t this available in the US? This would be a lifesaver in the winter (literally).

In addition to an available hybrid, Ford is also reducing carbon monoxide emissions on these by plumbing the exhaust directly into the cabin.

It’s a vicious cycle. Consumers will theoretically pick the bikeshare company with the most availability. So bikeshare companies dump way more bikes than necessary into cities in order to try and crowd out competitors.

Huh? All he said is “the tire failed when the steel cords were stressed until they broke”. There’s no need to spell all that crap out like that.
