Me too. We have clearly made the wrong life choices.

We can’t all sell monogrammed coffee thermoses :(
This is a ban that makes me especially ragey. Like they’re taking something already so horrible for the people who *wanted* to have a child but something terrible went wrong and making it even more horrific. And they don’t care. They’re fucking gleeful about it.
He kept pointing to his face in reference of attractiveness and it really was coming across as a joke, referencing how he’s so attractive, so obviously a woman doing the job would need to be just as attractive chuckle chuckle.
“I know these people are insane and want to deny people rights...but I’m going to vote for them anyways. Because money.”
Doesn’t sound like there’s much of a difference outside of legal issues. This is universally creepy. ick ick ick.
I’d be totally fine if she fell ill, but not life threatening, and she couldn’t go to the office, make speeches, etc. for a long time. Then when she got better everything had died down and they changed their policy that marriage licenses need her signature thus making her irrelevant.
Ohhh but at they same time they’re so interesting! Same as bees, I really love learning about creatures that don’t exactly have individuality and perform as a group. And while their habit of devouring anything sucks if the thing being devoured isn’t, you know, dead, it still serves a really important purpose when it…
I can understand the theory, and it was probably true in the 1900’s an earlier, but even expensive things these day can be made cheap and the mark up is because it’s “designer” or “a brand”. So the quality isn’t that much better, though they’ll certainly market it that way.
I can’t even step on an ant without feeling guilt. So I just think of spiders as my little buddies. They’re like, oh hey sallysassalot, I see you still refuse to kill any bugs, even mosquitos, because you’re a little weirdo. Don’t worry friend, I’ll take care of them for you then stay in a little corner out of your…
Don’t worry, something similar happened to me when I was 20 and I wasn’t brave then either, I think I handled it much more poorly. I took the passive aggressive route. She didn’t insult me but she got so caught up in flirting with my boyfriend at the time she walked away without taking my order. I had to call out to…
Depending on his age, 28 years may be life in prison, or the kid thinks it will be. The guy was responsible for 9 deaths. It’s not like it was a genuine accident and the kid is cackling about it. Like “I think it’s ok” is pretty damn mellow from someone who suffered horribly due to this guy’s bullshit.
That’s a very good point :) I’m guessing it could also just be a force of habit where you wear it a certain way for so long it just becomes automatic.
I like her natural hair waaaaaaaaaaay better. It’s kindof ridiculous how much better that looks than the ponytail.
I really hope they’re these ones and not the ones you saw http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/…
I’m genuinely curious, no sarcasm, how you can tell those are designer chairs and not chairs from like Ikea or something. I’ve seen that style at target, ikea, etc.
“When you’re a white kid, it’s harmless fun. When you’re a child of color who is a Muslim, you’re a threat. “
It seems we’ve reach a point in conversation where we just keep kindof repeating the same argument over and over while rephrasing it in different ways. I tried to reply like five times and kept thinking “this is basically the same point I made before...”
“A few instances” This is an attitude I encountered on a regular basis. These are things my coworkers have encountered on a regular basis. And duh, because it’s pushed so heavily.
