I really like the Red/Blanca pairing. Their storyline has been a bit slow going but I'm enjoying it and look forward to seeing where it goes.

So that wasn't actually a mischief of rats in the ceiling?

Maracas are their own thing. Their name needs to be unique!

I haven't been in a bunker for 15 years and I hadn't realized the transformation of Edward Furlong either. Am I the only one who had to google him?

I loved that even though she said "you're like a symbol that people can overcome anything" in her typical Xan manner, it's obvious she genuinely believes it to be the case.

This show is fantastic at creating great character pairings that you never thought you'd see. If you had told me Boo and Pennsatucky would have such a sweet relationship in season 1, I would not have believed it.

Ha, I wasn't going to out myself as a former sorority girl here but that really annoyed me too. Based on the fact that Linda's big sis was bitching her out in the first flashback, I assumed she was a new initiate so there is no way she would just take control like that even in an unofficial capacity since the exec

I love how on board everyone is with calling them Flaritza. I can't believe it took until season 5 for that to be a thing.

I'm having some serious problems suspending disbelief with regard to the riot and who knows about it. The video is part of it but we're hours into a prison riot and the police in the town where it's happening haven't been notified by anyone? I get that the higher ups at MCC is trying to keep it quiet but between the

Agreed. I thought they went a little too far with making the guards so sadistic last season but it has made the comeuppance we're seeing now more powerful.

I hope so! I plan to keep checking in.

I know, I loved seeing her on UKS!

So glad you're doing the rankings again this year!

I never bothered to learn most of the new guards names but I think the big guy who admitted to raping and killing civilians in Iraq (or maybe Afghanistan?) is Dixon.

Yes, from a spoiler perspective, this should improve but since people will keep moving on to the next episode as they watch and not go back, it's not conducive to a real discussion on each episode.

Absolutely, if it is Gloria she did it with Daya (and everyone's) best interest at heart. Days is falling apart and her holding on to that gun would not have ended well for anyone involved.

Gloria has the gun, right? I had her on the short list since she is supposed to be looking out for Daya and then she jumped in to save Daya from having to admit to Ruiz that she doesn't have it.

I've never heard of tablescaping but I did love Piscatella's response.
"That took Grand Prize at the Duchess County Fair. I could not be prouder."

I've only seen the first episode and I will keep an open mind but I have some concerns about the fact that the whole season takes place over such a short period. It's the characters that draw me to this show and I have doubts whether we'll see much growth and development within the confines of the riot environment.

I'm a one or two episode per day viewer so I can't say I'm thrilled with this format but I understand the rationale. Myles, I do appreciate that you will be promoting these on a daily basis and as always, appreciate you helping keep spoilers at bay. Your reviews and involvement in the discussion, along with the
