We've seen Elizabeth turn to Pastor Tim previously for advice (last season, I believe) so the precedent is there. He already has more than enough on them to cause trouble and while he obviously has major concerns about Paige's well being, he's made it pretty clear he is not going to interfere with their parenting.

Yes, exactly. On the podcast this week, the showrunners mentioned how Tuan is to Elizabeth as Niles was to Frasier. Niles was created to make Frasier seem less eccentric.

Good point. I didn't mean to imply the wife wasn't sympathetic to Emily, I just think it was as much about saving herself from that ridiculous ceremony as saving Emily.

True but since she is a preferred customer, she probably got a good deal at a Hampty to break up the journey.

I loved how sincerely Wendy loved his *poems*.

Nothing is ever dropped in this show, even if some of the threads won't be picked up until next season.

If you're looking for another show to eat at your soul, I highly recommend The Handmaid's Tale, although I have to wait until tomorrow to watch the new episode because watching these two show back to back is unbearable.

Can someone make "Sadsack TV, random stuff from the 70s and commercials for dog stairs" a real thing?

If he were trying to appease them he would have made the call as soon as they ordered him to but instead he dug in his heels that he was right about encouraging Pasha to pull the suicide stunt.

Thank you, somehow I missed the fact that she told them he was a courier.

That little smile when his uncle was talking about Philip/Mischa Sr. melted my heart. I can't believe I had pretty much forgotten Mischa's existence.

Nope, I have no more sympathy for that little sociopath.

Am I the only one who didn't immediately know that Sofia's fiance is a Soviet agent? I thought Stan and Aderholt were just freaked out that she told him about them and they were afraid he would blow her cover and that he was just trying to shake the FBI down for more cash.

For a split second when Paige tossed her cross in the trash and Elizabeth picked it up, I thought she was going to attempt a real conversation about how Paige was handling everything but nope. She just wanted to make sure she kept wearing it while Pastor Tim was still around.

I will be absolutely shocked if he even comes close to violence towards Kim or deliberately burns Chuck's house down. Saul is sleazy but has never been depicted as anywhere near Walter White level evil and I have faith in Gilligan and Co. not to retcon him into being some sort of supervillain.

Yes but they are now her clients, not his. She gave them the opportunity to come back another day to see him but those who chose to meet with her are now her clients. Kim couldn't have been any more clear that she wants their practices to be completely separate.

Saul ending up in Omaha is random but the fact that this show made the choice for Kim to be from the area where Saul ends up, is no coincidence.

I'm not against Jimmy yet since I know how much good there is in him but Odenkirk (and the writers, of course) did a phenomenal job this week of showing the seeds of Saul Goodman come to life.

I assumed the pills Hector takes are swallowed like most pills so he wouldn't be able to detect any difference? Is that not the case with the types of pills he takes?

I agree that Kim would be willing to do what she can for Jimmy if she became aware of how dire his financial predicament was but Jimmy is too proud to tell her. Also, she has been very clear in drawing boundaries (when she did the wills for him earlier this season, she was explicit that they are now her clients, not
