I didn't realize the finale is next week already. I am really going to miss this show.

True, and that little smirk on his face as he walked out the door proves that.
I'm curious as to what people are thinking about John and Laurie's "business". Not only is this everything that John battled against last season but it seems out of character for Kevin to condone it. Is this their way of providing therapy to people who need it and wouldn't seek out a traditional therapist?
I expect we'll get more insight in the next episodes but my immediate thought was that Kevin is trying to test his inability to die.
Dear HBO CEO of Butts,
Damn, it is good to have this show back. As dark and depressing as it is, I love how good they are at injecting humor because it is desperately needed with everything else going on.
My optimistic nature is hoping for a revolution of some sort but that is probably not in the cards. I am quite sure this is going to be a difficult show to watch but I'm still looking forward to seeing what they do with it.
I actually think (if done well) Handmaid's Tale can easily be an open ended show. There are so many ways it can go after the book ends and considering Atwood seems to be pretty involved, I am quite optimistic.
I believe when she talked about more than one squirrel being shown in certain situations, she was referring to actual squirrels being in the shot like in one scene where Elizabeth and Claudia met on a park bench. Damn, now I want to listen to the podcast where the squirrels were mentioned again.
I see what you mean but more with the first season finale than with the second. True, they took a step back but the conflict between the brothers is still in the forefront so I don't think the impact was altered, it's just being prolonged a bit by whatever Chuck is planning.
Ah, that sounds plausible. They mentioned a fan favorite returning next episode on the after show as well. I was thinking it would be Skinny Pete or Badger as a preview of when Jesse Pinkman makes an appearance but I would love to see Gale.
Oh and did anyone else notice the psychiatrist doing the thumb and forefinger thing?! I wonder how he learned the technique?
So many great moments in this episode.
The Hinky Dinky! I believe she said her hometown was somewhere near the Kansas/Nebraska border.
How did what happened in this episode alter the impact of the cliffhanger?
Seems like an odd job to give to the scientist on the payroll but I guess time will tell.
That's probably true. I definitely sensed hesitation on Jimmy's part. I just hope he listens to that inner voice when Ernie tells him about the tape so he doesn't fall for whatever Chuck's is trying to trick him into.
This show is truly its own entity. There are callbacks to BB that you won't get but it is definitely still worth it. I actually think it would be interesting to watch this and then BB after the series has wrapped up.
I've been worried about that since season one.
For the first couple of segments, I was thinking, wow, Hardwick isn't being quite as irritating as usual and then the over the top laughter came and made me want to mute him. It looks like they' snot doing another Talking Saul until after the finale so I can handle one more hour with him.
