I take pride in the fact that 86% of Manhattanites, where he calls home, voted against him.

Ooooh, are you doing 'Thought on' AbFab?! I need to make it a point to start checking in every day again for that!
I had no idea this was coming back in January. I thought I was going to have to wait until Spring for decent tv to return. Looking forward to this.
I almost got caught up because I was thinking of shows shot here but the *2 blocks west of 6th Avenue* clue made me realize it had to be Mad Men.
Or any other Christopher Guest mockumentary. Plus Schitt's Creek which is terrific.
And his buddy John Laurens.
Amantha is significantly worse than either.
True that Young has been excellent throughout, and perhaps this is sentimentality over it being over, but I do feel Young was able to top himself this season. The material gave him so much to work with and the therapy scenes in particular were just heart wrenching.
I'm disappointed not to see anyone from Rectify in this list, especially after the beautiful finale last night.
It's nice to see Freddie Highmore get some recognition here since it's unlikely any award show is going to recognize the show's existence. I noticed a huge improvement in his performance in S3 but agree this season he took it to the next level. Really looking forward to the final season on Bates Motel.
Interesting. I wonder if that was done intentionally because they originally planned to end the series with Chris' arrest or imprisonment?
I need to let this finale sink in but I can confidently say that Rectify is one of my favorite shows of all time.
I was about to start a rant about The Leftovers being ignored but then discovered season 2 ended in 2015. You win this time, AV Club!
Wow, I didn't realize The Goldbergs was doing so well. I haven't watched it this season yet but it's consistently funny and it's nice to see it doing so well.
Too generous for sure. They should have been able to come up with wrong answers that at least existed as states at the time in question.
Wow. I think it's safe to say that anyone who made it through this episode without shedding a tear is officially dead inside.
I saw that. So excited!
Everything about Kevin's story feels predictable and forced to me, although I did like that he mentioned that his show did the same thing twice so at least the writers realize it's a trope.
This is the first episode of the show I actively disliked and I'm not sure if it's because I semi-binged up until now and was probably only half paying attention or if this episode was just bad.
I've never made it to the Art Institute on my visits to Chicago but was finally able to see American Gothic at an exhibit with a large number of other paintings from that time period by American artists recently. It's really impressive in person and after seeing more of his work, I've become a big fan of Grant Wood.
