I'm avoiding all social media until I finish the season but I will check that out once I'm done.

That's exactly what I meant in my OP. She was using her white privilege, thinking that she could solve everything and relieve some of her guilt. I'm not saying Piscatella should demean anyone but he absolutely should treat Piper like any other inmate regardless of skin color.

That was meant to be a joke based on him specifically telling her he would never find her adorable but I guess it didn't work.

I would love if they could come up with a way for Danielle Brooks and Uzo Aduba to sing. Maybe another pageant of some kind. Did you see The Color Purple? Such a great show and I was so excited she was nominated for a Tony.

I have been trying my best to avoid anything that could possibly spoil me but I did hear one thing that I am desperately hoping is just a rumor.

But this isn't war. This is a minimum security prison in upstate NY.

If Kubra's hit man was hired under his own name, he could be traced back to Alex. That wouldn't be proof of her involvement but since she worked on the grounds crew, it would be very suspicious and I'm not sure how much of a fair trial someone who is already in prison would receive.

There's a difference between what plays out in your mind and what plays out when the scenario is in front of you. It wasn't entirely clear so I don't think we can know for sure, but the way she said something about it not looking like a jelly bean made me think she would have gone with the flies if she had a choice.

Not really since the places they interviewed at don't have first hand knowledge of how good or bad they were at their jobs. Also, Caputo felt guilty about how things went down so I am sure he gave them good references.

I could be wrong but I got the impression he was laying it out as she had in her game but since she had already chosen the mouse, that's what she had to eat. I can't imagine why else she would look at a living thing and choose that over dead flies.

The fact that the previous guards have had to take any job they can get (crossing guard, waiter) is evidence that unemployment is high so one would guess there would be a decent pool of veterans to choose from .

That may have been the most I've ever liked Soso.

I believe she had already been cast and this was a wink towards her playing Glinda. If not, it's a hell of a coincidence.

I'm not sure she had the choice.

I've never heard of Haverty's so maybe it's local or regional to you?

Murder Math humor!

I loved the theme song and I hope for your sake that happens but I still think they are Mean Girls and I don't think I'd be onboard with a show where they are the leads.

She's an inmate like everyone else and his behavior in the cafeteria made it clear he wasn't reasonable. It just irritates me that she continues to think she's so important that she is going to be the one to get things done. How does she not she that things have changed and of course Piscatella is going to get away

Agreed. She seemed pretty neutral overall but just because she looked slightly uncomfortable when the other guard talked about how Humphrey took Maritza into the guard house and how he's a sadist, doesn't excuse her doing nothing about it.

I wouldn't call it unselfish since she seems to be doing it more to get rid of her own guilt than to help Blanca. It's just too much of a re-tread of old Piper to me.
