Rather than polishing the screen, I get 3 or 4 long strips of Scotch tape, tape them to the top few inches of the screen, pull them off, move them down a few inches, and so on.

Scott: EFS won't make it hidden, but will make it so that only you can get to the contents of a folder. As for accessing flash drives... across the network, just turn on the autosharewks flag, and then manually create c$, d$... shares if needed.

Craig: Thanks for the OneBag suggestion. Even at first glance, his bundle packing technique is better than my now previous one (multiple smaller rolls).

Ed: the trick is to not even it out: take the heavy stuff with a high weight/volume ratio as carry-on, and pack two bags at 50 lbs each (or whatever your airline dictates). Last trip to France, I brought back 8 bottles of wine and several jars of food (almost 30 pounds worth) in my carry-on to circumvent the weight

I use autohide in spite of its bugginess, but do get irritated when a balloon tip pops under the taskbar keeping it open. There's also a bug where tooltips fail to appear.
