I have to disagree. No, Disney dub’s aren’t perfect but are so much better than everybody else’s. Most are just unwatchable where they try to have the voice actors mimic the original seiyuus which ALWAYS turns out bad.

No, Phil Hartman was great as Jiji. It was a different tack than the Japanese version took but I think it was better in the end.

Whose doing the dubs? Is it GKIDS? At least with Only Yesterday I thought they did a pretty bad job especially compared to Disney. I hope they don’t redo existing dubs.

Depends. Sony already has Aniplex of America. Aniplex of America charges Japan like DVD/Blu-ray pricing. So like $50 for 3 episodes. Funimation goes a much cheaper route. I just hope they don’t fuck up funimation with bad ideas like that. I also hope it doesn’t prevent funimation from ONLY getting Sony produced…
