What a dilemma. Who do you root for when everyone in the story is loathsome?

I mean, periods are gross for me. I’m cramping, bleeding, and most of the time I’m dealing with period poops. I’m not repulsed by them, but dealing with the fallout is not exactly a walk in the park. When I’m at home, cleaning up after major leak is pretty easy, at work, not so much.
